Ready. Set. Go.
Now that we’d found our trailer, it was time to transform it into a mobile unit that screams CURE!
First we primed, then we painted. We selected something very bright because we wanted a clean pallet so you can feel the NATURAL VIBE, the moment you step into our store. We picked lots a wood fixtures, metal and other natural materials like leather, that once in our design should resonate harmony.
Every day after we would get off of work, we would head to our garage and driveway to complete a little more of our mission. Paint, no problem… that was pretty easy and came together nicely. Next was to pick out the flooring. We went for something that would be easy to clean but still fit into the flow of our store. After considering many options we made our pick, flooring that seemed pretty easy to install and a color that should compliment our ideas. So we laid the underlayment and began to figure out how we could install these floors… of course, after watching several YouTube videos. But, once we started looking at things like the tongue side, talking about cutting planks and trimming door jambs, that’s where we ended up having a moment. We realized that we didn’t have all of the equipment needed to do it right, so we decided that when it came to laying floors, it was probably best to hire a professional. Phew, are we happy we did that because when we saw the tools he was using, his ease of measuring, randomly staggering the patterns, yeah, it was clear we made the right call!
